Hi everyone! I’m so pleased from all the emails saying you tried the spaghetti squash and glad that you all liked it and are incorporating it in your meal plans. It’s so good! I feel like I haven’t blogged in awhile. Sometimes I want to but then I don’t want to be on the computer so I opt against it. You can always find me tweeting or instagramming if I’m not here:) This past week my best friend and I drove down to Portland for a couple days! What a FANTASTIC city. I still miss it! I can’t believe I have only been there once and barely remember it. We went this time and I just had a blast, I LOVE the city, the architecture, the art, the attention to detail that these city planners created. I love that everyone is biking and walking and experiencing the city outside of their cars. I love how CLEAN it is, I love the live music, the millions of restaurants and food trucks, and that we found the most amazing hikes only minutes away from the city. Here we go with the photos:)……

FACTS ABOUT MY LIFE LATELY:

Besides having amazing weekend getaways, I’m still juicing once a day whether I’m buying it, making it myself, or buying Suja, I have it daily. I feel AMAZING. I don’t know how to explain it but I do.
-
Another little face is that I have had actual meat 3 times in the last 5 weeks. That is not much at all! I swear, my Sedona Yoga training changed something inside me. I see meat and I picture my body having a hard time breaking it down. I picture uneasy digestion. I don’t crave it, I don’t want it. It has nothing to do with animal rights but I do know that a lot of the meat we indulge in everyday is pumped with so many chemicals and other unknown things I don’t know about….that I’d rather stay away. I feel like my entire life feels better when I am more plant-based. I am not saying I’m going vegetarian or vegan or putting any labels on my life….I’m just saying that I am testing a new way of living and eating…and we’ll see if things improve. So far from this new way of living, I’ve never felt better.

I’m training for my first half marathon! WOOHOOOOOO! Slowly but surely, I will get there! Anyone have RunKeeper? Add me!

Lets see, I have lost 3 inches to my waist, and I’m down to 111 pounds! Wow! That is crazy for me! Its not unhealthy though, I eat a ton and I am 5’3” with mostly muscle. I think that reaching for more fruits and veggies over meat and fatty food is helping things slowly lower. I am usually around 118 or so and okay with that.

I have been so happy. I don’t know why…I’m just happy. I am FINALLY not in any conflict with men from my past, I finally started dating again, I finally started reading a lot more and just enjoying the present.

ONE LAST THING…..I’m going to Wanderlust Austin in November!!!! AHHHHH goal to check off my list! Any of your going??? Lets meet up!
